Beauty and the Beast

I recently went and saw "Beauty and the Beast" with my friends. I know there is a lot of controversy regarding this movie, which is too bad because it rocked! I loved the performance by Emma Watson and the effects were great. I loved Belle's independence and love for books. That is one of the major reasons people enjoy the original Disney movie of "Beauty and the Beast." There were some differences in this movie that I really liked because they made more sense. One was the reason both Belle and her father weren't both imprisoned. In the original both Belle and her father trespass, so you'd think both of them would be imprisoned. While in this updated movie, Maurice ends up picking and stealing a rose, while Belle never takes anything. Yes, it's a small stupid reason for imprisoning someone, but at least there isn't a plot hole there.

Also, I really loved the way Belle and the Beast relate with each other in this updated movie. I feel like it was certainly a bit more deep. Anyway, this movie was great and I highly recommend getting out to see it!
