New Job

I'm very excited that I have just started a new job as a library assistant working with children. I look forward to sharing my projects and events that I will be working on with the library world. I don't know how librarians in the past survived without Pinterest, but I have been looking through Pinterest like crazy for all kinds of ideas.

I also love library blogs like The Teen Librarian Toolbox and Storytime Katie.

There is the world of knowledge out there to help me with my brand new, wonderful, beautiful job. I'm excited because of all of the opportunities for growth that I have. It's a very self-motivated job, but is really a great stepping stone for me to go from either Library Assistant to Children's Librarian or Library Assistant to Teen Librarian.
