This book is about a girl named Frank, who is bullied by some boys whenever she is out riding her bike. Nick (a strange boy from school) helps her, but she's worried about becoming friends with him because of what people will think. However, when Frank learns Nick's secret she finds it hard to stay away from him.

I loved this story. It was a little different but with themes that children can relate to. There were times that the writing style confused me, but the story is what mattered.

Sure to keep children imagining what might be lurking in their basement. 😉
