Shadow Weaver by MarcyKate Connolly
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
***I received an ARC from Netgalley for my honest review***
I loved, loved, loved this book! It's one of my top new favorites. This book made me fall in love with the fantasy genre again.
Emmeline controls the shadows around her and uses them to her advantage. She animates them and makes solid objects she can run on. This ability allows her to escape the people who want to stop her from using this special magic because they believe Emmeline is dangerous. If her own shadow didn't get her into so many sticky situations, maybe even her own mother would believe her magic was harmless. Or maybe that wouldn't matter?
