'Percy Jackson' Series

So far I have just finished book two in the Percy Jackson series. I am enjoying the series so far. There is a great balance of action and description. My only gripe in the "The Sea of Monsters," is that I think the chapter near the end about chariot races wasn't exactly necessary.

After I realized things had wound down in the book, I was wondering when the book would actually end. The last chapter was awesome though. I want to see how a new piece of information plays out.

In book #2, Percy and Annabeth are on a double quest to accomplish two things at the same time. Others join this quest. One of these characters has a special relationship to Percy. The question throughout the journey is "Who can be trusted?" I love the relationships and the rivalry in these books. It's fun to see how the various characters play off one another's personalities. These are fun reads for sure.
